National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) March and Seruti Quarter I 2025

General Explanation:

The National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) is one of the sources of socio-economic data where Susenas data is used for planning and evaluating national development programs, Planning and Evaluation of Sectoral Development Programs (Ministries/Institutions) and Provision of Sustainable Development Goals (TPB) Indicators, National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) and Astacita.

Susenas data is widely used by various groups, both government and non-government. Three of the four development targets are generated from Susenas, therefore the data from the data collection must be maintained and the continuity of availability and quality of data must be improved. For good data quality, Susenas Officer Training is needed as a provision for officers in the field.

Sample Coverage:

SUSENAS: Susenas March 2025 covers a sample of 345,000 households in 38 provinces and 514 districts/cities throughout Indonesia. The March 2025 Susenas household sample is a new sample (not a panel) selected from each selected census block of the March 2025 Susenas using systematic sampling with implicit educational strata of the head of household.

SERUTI: Seruti Quarter I 2025 covers a sample of 76,310 households in 514 districts/cities throughout Indonesia. The Seruti Sample for Quarter I 2025 is a subsample of the March 2025 Susenas households.

Training Schedule:

The training for Susenas officers for March and Seruti for Quarter I at BPS Mappi Regency was carried out in 2 (two) waves with 2 (two) methods, namely online and offline, where Wave I was held on January 13-16, 2025, while Wave II was held on January 20-23, 2025.

Field Implementation:

The updating activities for Susenas March and Seruti for Quarter I 2025 were carried out on February 1-6, 2025, while the field implementation was carried out on February 8-27, 2025.
